Snow Week Update

It might be too warm to snow outside, but we've seen plenty of flakes in the Children's Room...paper snowflakes, that is. On Monday afternoon, a group of happy kids cut out and glitter-glued some paper snowflakes to help us decorate. We kept them happy with hot chocolate! Come to the library Tuesday the 29th at 3:30 for another cool craft and hot chocolate: CD Snowmen. We'll show you a cool way to reuse old CDs! More snow crafts are comin' at ya later this week. On Wednesday the 30th children ages 3 and up can make marshmallow snowman, and onThursday the 31st children ages 8 and up can make ice cream snowmen. We hope to see you on these Craft-A-Licious afternoons! Call or stop by to register or for more information.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair

Support the Friends of the Bound Brook Memorial Library on Saturday, November 17 by visiting the Barnes and Noble store at the Somerville Circle Shopping Center (319 Route 202/206). At 11:00 am children's librarian Margaret Draghi will present a chicken-themed storytime that is sure to delight many ages. At 2:00 pm local author Chris Grabenstein will present a book talk and signing. His John Ceepak mystery series takes place in the fictitious town Sea Haven, New Jersey.

A percentage of the net sale of purchases made with a voucher available at the library will directly benefit the Friends of the BBML. Now's the perfect time to do some holiday shopping and support your local library at the same time!
